Reinventing oneself in autumn

Autumn brings with it a message of rest and rebirth, which are closely related. Once the hot season is over, nature becomes silent, slows down, and prepares to live again.

After the ‘zero’ issue of ‘The Ambassador’, this is the first official one. We started with an ‘extra-large’ celebratory format and now we are beginning our real journey with a more classic magazine size, easy to leaf through and carry around, but always accompanied by the digital edition. Like every journey, ours also begins in autumn. In this issue, you will read many articles that highlight this important combination: tradition and innovation, classicism and contemporaneity. Because this is what our beloved Italy is all about.

In the months behind us, we said goodbye to two great personalities of our culture: Giorgio Armani and Pippo Baudo. So different, so distant, one from the world of fashion, international and divine, the other from the world of entertainment, very Italian and popular, yet both the greatest in their field, leaving an indelible mark and a void that cannot be filled.

‘It cannot be done’, indeed: it must be done! With the utmost respect for such important figures, Italy must find new talent, and, in fact, it already exists!

As you will read on our pages, while milestones are being consolidated on the one hand, new promises are advancing on the other, offering hope for a bright future that our country must look forward to with confidence.

A nation that is the guardian of a solemn past but is not subservient to it, indeed it pushes towards innovation in the fields in which we have dominated throughout history and in new disciplines: sport, technology, and care for the environment.

And after all, these are not new subjects for us, we are simply returning to dominate them.

As in autumn, we are reinventing ourselves while remaining true to our identity.

Even in language, let’s open ourselves up to the future, or rather the present: let’s no longer say ‘made in Italy’, but ‘make in Italy’!
