From early television debuts to award-winning literature and leading on-screen roles, an exploration of a rising star's relentless creative journey
Federica Santuccio

Federica Santuccio, born on December 4, 1992 , is a dynamic Italian actress and writer who embodies the rich, multifaceted nature of contemporary Italian storytelling. Her artistic journey began with a profound passion for singing , leading to her early television debut on Rai Uno’s Festa Italiana in 2009. Today, she channels her boundless creativity into both literature and cinema, establishing herself as a compelling and versatile voice in the Italian cultural landscape.

Santuccio’s literary debut came in 2017 with the publication of her autobiographical novel, La chiave blu , which earned her a National Literary Prize from the City of Ladispoli. Her success as an author continued to flourish with subsequent works, including 100 stanze mai aperte in 2021, which later inspired a short film finalist at the Spello Film Festival. This profound dedication to the written word culminated in her 2024 book Tu, Artista , which garnered her the prestigious Vincenzo Crocitti International Award for Emerging Actress and Writer , as well as the Women and Literature Award. Most recently, she expanded her literary repertoire with a poignant fourth book, Cuore senza culla, dedicated to unborn children.

Driven by a continuous desire to express deep emotions, Santuccio pursued formal acting training, graduating from the Accademia Artisti in 2019. This pivotal step bridged her writing and performance skills. She soon began co-writing screenplays, such as the 2023 film La mia luce, and taking on leading on-screen roles. In 2024, she notably starred in the film Una seconda occasione and the short film T’immagino ancora , a project inspired by a true story that she also passionately scripted.

Currently, Santuccio is commanding the screen in major upcoming productions. She is stepping into the spotlight as the complex character Ornella Conte in the highly anticipated second season of Pompei 2 la serie, directed by Vincenzo Coccoli. Set to premiere at the Spello Film Festival, this nuanced role perfectly highlights her artistic versatility and intense preparation. Simultaneously, she is involved as a co-protagonist in the upcoming 2025 film Piramide , continually proving that true art is, in her own words, everything that makes her feel alive.
