The “Sette Colli” Award Returns: Roman Excellence Takes the Stage at the Chamber of Deputies in the Spirit of Fair Play

On the eve of the capital’s highly anticipated football derby, one of the city’s most heartfelt and traditional events returns: the “Sette Colli” Award. Now in its 18th edition, the event will take place today, Thursday, May 14, at 4:00 PM, in an exceptional institutional setting: the Chamber of Deputies at Via degli Uffici del Vicario 21.

Conceived and organized by Fabrizio Pacifici and promoted by Hon. Fabrizio Santori, the event is a true tribute to those who elevate the name of the Capital. Created to celebrate figures deeply connected to the city and the colors of AS Roma, the award annually honors former players, illustrious fans, and prominent personalities from the worlds of sports, entertainment, media, and business. But the Sette Colli Award is also synonymous with sportsmanship and respect: in a commendable gesture of fair play, special recognitions will also be awarded to prominent Lazio fans.

This is an event that goes far beyond simple sporting rivalry, aiming straight at the heart of the city’s identity. “The Sette Colli Award represents a well-established event that tells the truest soul of our city,” stated Hon. Fabrizio Santori, City Councilor and Secretary of the Capitoline Assembly. “Rome is not only history and beauty; it is made of people, stories, and passions that keep its identity alive every day. This 18th edition, hosted in a prestigious institutional venue like the Chamber of Deputies, demonstrates how important it is to value those who contribute to making Rome’s name great. Celebrating ‘romanità’ means strengthening the sense of community, belonging, and pride. And this is exactly the spirit that animates the Award.”

His words are echoed by Fabrizio Pacifici, the historical organizer of the event, who highlights the specific significance of the location chosen for this year: “The Sette Colli Award is deeply tied to the soul of Rome, the eternal city that for centuries has represented history, culture, and national identity. Celebrating it within the Chamber of Deputies means paying homage not only to the awarded excellence but also to the beating heart of our institutions. This year’s honorees will enrich an already highly prestigious roll of honor. In past editions, the “Sette Colli” has been awarded to major figures in entertainment and culture, including Enrico Vanzina, Rocco Papaleo, Maurizio Mattioli, Ninetto Davoli, Massimo Wertmuller, Clayton Norcross, Edoardo Vianello, and Silvia Salemi. Joining them, naturally, are legends and historical figures of Capitoline football such as Giuseppe Giannini, Roberto Pruzzo, Rosella Sensi, and the Biancocelesti icon Pino Wilson.

“Yes, let’s start with your wonderful magazine, which chose me to represent your unwavering dedication to art, and in particular to painting. I am truly honored to be featured so far on the “autographed” page, which, with my work “ROMILIUS,” has reached its fourth edition.
Today, I will donate the work “ROMILIUS” to a huge Roma fan, as well as an excellent journalist and creator of many exceptional events, including the Sette Colli Award…
Returning to the work, it is a joint project I created many years ago with my dear friend and colleague Germana Conti Danna, which we had never fully completed. During one of Fabrizio’s last events, the Antenna d’Oro Award in the Campidoglio, I had the idea of ​​finishing the work and donating it to Fabrizio as a testament to the strong bond that unites us Roma fans…
